So we needed two albums in a row I guess to reassure us that The Velvet Underground were a good listen, except sadly this fell short of the one featuring Nico. It had some good tunes on it, and "Sister Ray" sounded familiar. There were a few songs that were way too long to listen to though. We only had around eight songs, but sitting through a seventeen minute song isn't pleasant.
Anyways, if you liked the other album from The Velvet Underground then you will like this one too. It doesn't have as many consistently good songs, but it still holds true to the sound you found on the album. It's also missing Nico, and if you enjoyed her voice on the last album then you're missing it here. As far as crudeness, I think this album was even more crude than the last one I listened to. There is no guessing what this band is ever talking about.
