If you're going to watch a westen then make the first one you see Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This movie was just ton of fun. George Roy Hill brought to life this western and gets the audience invested real quick. At first I was a little hesitant with the sepia colored beginning though. This movie has a great action scenes though and a lot of cool dialogue. You also have the great pairing of Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Overall, this is one of the best older movies I've saw. It almost feels very modern in the way it was it filmed and conveyed.
Summary: Butch and Sundance are two robbers finding their robberies suffering more and more. Butch though still has his charm, and Sundance has his good shooting skills. When the law finally catches up to them one day during a train robbery the two begin having to plot where they will flee, and that leads them to Bolivia. There they stir up even more trouble. With their accomplice, Etta, believing things are feeling to unsafe she begins to doubt just how safe the guts are continuing on with robbery as their living.
