Peter Tosh would leave The Wailers, the band fronted by Bob Marley, and go on to record his debut album, Legalize It. With enough good critics review, and the following he had it was a hit. He would be one of the three members of the group to go on to release his own album. To start while Bob Marley is more well known, I enjoyed Peter Tosh a bit more. There was something more rhythmic about his beats.
The title song, "Legalize It" kicks off the album, and it's really a great way to start. The song just sways, and it sort of throws in some rhymes that liven it up even more. Oddly, with the second song "Burial" it does sound a bit different while staying in the genre of reggae. It fits the mood you would expect from seeing the title though.
