There was a lot of excitement when I saw the Ramones were the next band on the list I would be listening to. While liking the few songs I had heard I definitely hadn't heard enough to know if I liked the band. It was also exciting to see a few songs on the album that I had already heard before, and would be getting to listen to again. While the themes of Nazism, male prostitution, violence, and and drug use are a little different the album still sounds good, and it's no doubt these guys really spurred the punk genre.
"Blitzkrieg Bop" is the song that kicks off the album, and as most the songs on the album it at least gets you jumping and ready to hear the rest of the album. The third song is one of my favorites though, so I was definitely more excited to hear "Judy is a Punk". It's one of the better songs on the album, and one of my prior favorites even before hearing the whole album.
